Dude, I really hate these 84 hour work weeks. Data collection would be so much easier if the subjects would actually show up in “good faith”.. I’ve had so many participants show up and just dick around instead of actually trying to follow the directions.
But in other news..
The current numbers are interesting. The verbal 1back isn’t effecting the pointing or updating performance. Surprisingly, the spatial 1back doesn’t either. What’s going on? Well, I haven’t done the super in-depth analysis yet, but one of two hypotheses are present: 1) all the updating is offline, the subjects just aren’t engaging in active target updating, 2) Sholl’s egocentrically mediated allocentric network is a more accurate theory.
Interesting. This presents some interesting alternatives for the modeling. More as I become aware of it.
