Alright, let’s see how long I keep this weekly review up..

The revised version of the experiment is now up and running. I had one subject at the beginning and one at the end of the week. So far, so good. This version corrects the major deficiency of the previous in that there is now a 1back control task as well. However, for this version I have gone back down to the 3 target configurations, just in case the 4 target confs were too much. Since there were only 13 usable subjects in the previous iteration, I feel no guilt in discarding them.

I’ve got 8 subjects lined up before I head back to Pittsburgh week after next.

The big drive this week has been on the modeling front, or more appropriately, on the jACT-R front. While the module refactoring has been done for a month or two, the Eclipse toolset has been behind the times. It has now been upgraded, using the new MINA networking backend. The tools are much clearer and actually work like they are supposed to. The debugging is looking pretty nice (although limited for the moment to just production breakpoints - no conflict resolution forcing). A new release has already been posted and a newer one is forth coming with some screencast tutorials.

I finally got around to reading my old submission that both Chris and I had forgotten about. Next up, reviewer comments - everyones’ favorite part.
