Yeah, baby - wanna play with the spatial goodness?

Or just been waiting for a good time to start working with jACT-R?

Read on.

Make sure you’ve installed the latest and greatest version of jACT-R.

Then, add the ACT-R/S update site (where new version can be downloaded automagically)

Site: jACT-R ACT-R/S

URL: http://jactr.org/update/actrs

Install.

Then, import the example: org.jactr.actrs.tutorial. Make sure you Tweak imported jACT-R Project. Otherwise the rest won’t work.

Open up the project. Included are two run configurations, that allow you to launch the sample model through the standard Java VM, or through the jACT-R IDE. Mac users will have to use the VM version because of a bug in 3.3M6.

In the project is a README.txt, please do.

For more details on ACT-R/S, see this explanation of the current state.

If you upgraded the whole software set, you’ll see some truly awesome features.

The source of the embodiment information (sensorData.xml) is very primitive. More advanced sensors are slated for the future.
